As a captain in Offling's Royal Guard, Luxia Fielding[2] has dedicated her life to the protection of King Offling and the royal family.
Born a simple farmer's daughter, she lived a common life with eye on improving her station through hard work and determination. Training to fight in solitude during the late hours after the daily chores, she developed a competence that was soon noticed by prefects of The Royal Guard and nurtured by a caring mentor. She graduated in high regard, and was quickly stationed among the king's closest attendants.
During her time training to join The Royal Guard she met and befriended Eira the Wyrd who, though not sharing Lady Fielding's zeal for station, grew very close. The two were inseperable friends until Eira confessed a romantic affection for Luxia. Unable to reciprocate the emotion and feeling as though their friendship had been betrayed, Lady Fielding scorned Eira and the two have not spoken since.
When King Offling abandoned his throne in search of answers to the great divine mysteries that plagued him, Luxia was the first of his knights to comprehend the peril set before him and his heirless kingdom. She left after her king on a mission to either return him to sanity and bring him home, or protect him from all dangers until her dying breath; if he would fall, the kingdom would surely perish and her life's duty would be in vain.
